Three of my most recent couples were accepted into:
Red Heat: Contemporary Works in Clay, University of Tulsa School of Art, September 30-October 30, 2010. Juror: Adrian Arleo. Adrian Arleo also selected these pieces for the Juror’s Choice Award.

On October 22, 2010 at the Southeastern College Art Conference in Richmond, VA, I was given SECAC’s most prestigious Award for Exemplary Achievement 2010. SECAC has over 100 institutional members in the southeastern region of the US and over 1000 individual higher education faculty members from across the nation representing art history, studio art, art education, and museum education.

TomBrewerGallery.com’s 2nd Annual Holiday Sale/Open House will be held December 10 (10am – 5pm) & 11 (noon – 5pm) at Griggs St. Pottery, 305 W. Griggs St, Urbana, IL. Details are under the tab on the left. The Griggs St. studio/gallery is also open by appointment via phone or email.

TomBrewerGallery.com will not hold the 2011Annual Holiday Sale/Open House in New Smyrna Beach. Instead, the gallery and studio in New Smyrna Beach will be open anytime by appointment via phone or email.

The purpose of TomBrewerGallery.com is to make my studio work more visible and commercially available. The Ceramic section and the Price List are the primary features. Multi-media Constructs and Paintings and Drawings are also included for view. There is a Bio Statement, an Art Resume, and a Complete Resume that provides some professional and personal history. The Writings section includes selected art education publications. The Photo Gallery has miscellaneous images and items of interest. Please use Contact Info to send any questions or comments.

At the end of December 2009 I purchased Griggs St. Studio (formerly Pottery) in Urbana, IL, from the estate of Betsey Cronan. Betsey established and worked in the studio for some 10 years. A few selected photos of the building and studio are available on this website. The Griggs St Studio (see address and contact information below) has a permanent exhibition space for TomBrewerGallery.com and will eventually be my primary studio with the New Smyrna Beach studio serving as the secondary.

An “Or Similar” term in the Ceramics Section means a similar type piece is available and can be shipped.  These are usually smaller more functional pieces that may have been part of a series or done in a number of phases.
